Waha Oil assesses project and business development

On 24 March, Waha Oil’s operations committee discussed plans to implement a number of its projects. The meeting was attended by chairman of the company’s board of directors, Mohamed Bashir Al-Hamrouni, and included board director Abdul-Ati Abdul-Jalil Al-Rafadi, and Glenn Hamrell from Waha’s foreign partner ConocoPhillips.

Hamrouni stressed the importance of the operations committee keeping to timelines so that targets are met. The meeting also reviewed field operations as well as activities at Sidra oil terminal. At its conclusion, Hamrouni spoke of the need to continue providing training programmes for employees in order to develop their skills and capabilities and help boost performance.
