
The Chairman ofthe Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), Mohamed Ben Shatwan, had talks on 13 May with a delegation from Baker Hughes to explore opportunities to work together on business development.
At the meeting in Benghazi, Ben Shatwan disscussed with Baker Hughes’ Libya branch GM, Walid Alidrisi, the use of the latest technologies to boost production. Alidrisi was accompanied by Baker Hughes’ Executive Director for Field Development and Consulting in the Middle East and North Africa, Tariq Abdel Fattah, and the company’s Business Transactions Manager for Energy Consulting, Paranjal Bat.
Discussions also centered on human resources, in particular training programmes to develop the technical and technological skills of the workforce.
