Libyan gas exports to Italy via the Greenstream pipeline dropped eight percent in February over the January figure. The average February daily was 41.14 million cubic feet a day.
Italy is the sole user in the European Union of Libyan gas. In EU terms, the February figures puts Libya in a distant fifth place as an exporter of gas to the EU.
Norway was the top exporter of gas to the EU delivering 8.316 billion cubic feet a day. Algeria secured the second position with exports of 3.27 billion cubic feet. Russia ranked third with 1.9 billion cubic feet, fllowed by Azerbaijan at 1 billion cubic feet.
