The president of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and the acting chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Masoud Suleiman, met on 21 March to review the challenges facing the institution as well as production rates and opportunities for development and production growth.
During the meeting in Saleh’s hometown of Gubba in eastern Libya, the first since Suleiman took over running the NOC, Saleh endorsed the corporation’s current operations and performance, and backed its development plans. according to an HoR statement.
