Akakus boosts Sharara field production to highest level since 2018 at 306,400 barrels

Akakus Oil Operations announced on 19 January that it had successfully increased production to its highest level since 2018, with output reaching 306,440 barrels barrels over the previous 24 hours.
Akakus has thanked its workers for the increase as well as its management committee for their efforts.
The National Oil Corporation aims to increase its overall production to 2 million b/d by the end of 2027, a target confirmed by its acting chairman, Masoud Sulaiman, in a speech at the Libya Energy and Economic Summit, which took place on 18-19 January in Tripoli.
