The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced on 18 March the resumption of operations at the G105 well in its Nafoura field. It followes the completion of maintenance work.
The company says that this included the replacement of a corroded crude oil pipeline with a new 6-inch-diameter, 700-metre-long pipe. The upgrade also involved the replacement of old isolation valves, enabling increased production rates. This work was aimed at improving safety standards and mitigating potential risks. It is part of AGOCO’s broader plans to develop infrastructure and output.
