The General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) says that it is speeding up the pace of work on various projects to improve the efficiency of the power grid and ensure a stable electricity supply.
GECOL also announced equipment was being delivered for the Al-Bukhi substation project in Qatrun, which is part of its Southern Region Distribution Projects Department.
The company emphasised that the work would support and stabilise the regional electricity network, ultimately improving its performance level in the south of the country.
