Oil output rises by approximately 18,000 barrels, reaching 1.394 million barrels

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on 5 March that oil production had been increased by 18,000 barrels in the five days since 28 February, up from 1.376 million barrels to 1.394 million.

The NOC also said that condensates production rates was up to 51,194 barrels, compared to 50,939 barrels the previous week.

The corporation launched a public tender process on 5 March, inviting leading foreign energy companies to invest in Libya to boost the country’s oil and gas reserves, drive local development and create job opportunities.
