Both Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) and AGOCO announced on 17 February their participation in the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition (EGPS), which is being held in Cairo on 17-19 February.
The NOC said on its Facebook page that the object of participating in the exhibition is to interest leading international energy companies in exploring investment and business development opportunities in relation to renewing the oil and gas infrastructure.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi joined top officials from local and international companies in opening the conference and exhibition. It has drawn some 2,500 company representatives, over 300 speakers and 500 exhibiting companies, according to the official website. As many as 47,000 visitors are expected to attend.
