The acting NOC chairman, Masoud Suleiman, and other NOC board members continued with the annual assemblies of corporation affiliates on 11 February , taking part in those of the National Company for Drilling and Well Maintenance, the Petroleum Research Centre (now known as the Libyan Petroleum Institute, and the Tripoli Oil Clinic.
The meetings discussed projects completed in 2024, those planed for 2025 and the budgets required for their implementation.
According to an NOC report of the meetings, the National Drilling Company had made significant strides in its operations during 2024. It stated that it drilled 14 new wells and carried maintenance work on 213 existing oil and gas wells. As to the Research Centre, the NOC said it had carried out 54 technical studies and performed 948 laboratory analyses.
