A further round in the 2025 series of annual general assemblies of the NOC’s affiliates, those of Zueitina Oil Company, Nafusa Oil Operations and Sarir Oil Operations, took place at the NOC headquarters in Tripoli on 9 February.
The acting NOC chairman, Masoud Suleiman, and other NOC board members took part in the assemblies which focused on the companies’ operations in 2024, their plans for 2025 and approval of the necessary budgets.
In the meetings, the NOC directors praised the work of the staff at Sarir Oil for increasing oil production to 60,000 b/d and assessed Zueitina’s start-up of operations in blocks 103 and 74/29 in the Ghadames Basin. Also reviewed was Nafusa’s commencement of pumping oil from the North Hamada field to the pipeline at El Feel linking the field to the Mellitah complex on the coast.
