Sirte Oil Company has increased gas production at its Al-Hatiba field to 100 million cubic feet per day, the highest level in a decade. The company announced this milestone on 14 January.
The increase came after Well No. S28 came onstream, adding five million cubic feet of gas a day.
Sirte Oil has commended its employees and all departments involved in the operation of the well which was originally drilled in 2010.
