The NOC chairman, Farhat Bengdara, had talks today with the British ambassador, Martin Longden, on areas of potential cooperation between the two countries on oil, gas and renewable energy.
At their meeting in Tripoli, the two also discussed plans to increase production and improve operating systems in the fields as well as the means to achieve complete independence in the sector. They also discussed the importance of improving transparency and governance systems.
