Waha Oil has been named the six best companies in the world for project management offices (PMOs) in 2024 and the best in Africa. It was given the award at the international PMO Global Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, USA on 19 September 2024.
It is the first time any North African company has won the Africa section of the annual competition.
As such, it will be one of the finalists in the PMO of the Year will takes place in Istanbul on 9 December.
At the Los Angeles semi-finals, Waha was also named world best PMO on methodologies and processes for 2024, sharing the prize with India’s Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Company.
