
The chairman of the board of directors of Arabian gulf oil company (AGOCO) Mohammed Ben Shatwan had talks with the Director of Halliburton Company Khaled Beltamer in Benghazi,where talks centered on the opportunities to resume work on joint projects.
AGOCO said in statement on 27 may that both sides also discussed the possibility of developing and rehabilitating oil fields, which would contribute to increasing production levels and achieving the strategic plan targets for AGOCO.
According to the company statement, Beltamer stressed Halliburton’s desire to support the operations and projects of the Gulf Company aimed at developing the oil sector in Libya and improving the infrastructure, in addition to continuing communication between the two sides to facilitate cooperation in the future.
